Get Involved

A lifeline when someone disappears

Become part of the Missing People community

From making a donation online to taking part in a fundraising event – there are lots of ways that you can get involved and help us:

  • Search for vulnerable missing people
  • Support families waiting for news
  • Reconnect missing people with their families.

Give time

Use the Search Directory to find out who is missing in your area or volunteer for Missing People.

Give socially

Join the Search by following us on Facebook or Twitter. The more people who share our missing people appeals with friends online, the more chance we have of finding them.

Give anything

Let us know how you are supporting Missing People! Call us on 0800 MISSING (647 7464) or email supporters@missingpeople.org.uk and tell us how you can help.

Join us on Thursday 2 November for Missing People's first ever Night of Light Gala.

This special event will bring us one step closer to our ambition of reaching and supporting every one of the 250,000 people who go missing in the UK each year. Being a lifeline when someone disappears; our helpline is open 24/7, 365 days a year. We want to continue to keep our lights on, all day and all night, for those 250,000 people and their families left behind.

We want to ensure no one missing, and no one missing a loved one, ever has to be alone and in darkness.

Our Night of Light Gala will be held at one of London's most prestigious venues, The Rosewood Hotel. With an amazing host, sumptuous fine dining and entertainment by our Missing People Choir (Britain's Got Talent finalists), the Night of Light Gala is an event not to be missed.

For more information on the event, or to purchase your tables, please call Missing People's Night of Light Team on 020 8392 4523 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
